Bartlett Hills Golf Club
A Great Value in the West 'Burbs
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has long been a favorite destination for golfers in the Chicagoland area. The golf course has been reshaped over the years to complement both the improvements demanded by today's golfers and to take advantage of the beautiful rolling terrain. In 1982 the Village of Bartlett committed to a complete renovation of the facility including the rebuilding of all 18 greens, reshaping and an addition of bunkers, a new practice range complete with grass tees and a short game area, and a state of the art irrigation system. And most recently, a conversion to bent grass fairways, along with the redesign of greens No. 1, 3, 4 and 5 was completed in the fall of 2002, making Bartlett Hills one of the finest golf courses in the area.
From the golfers poker tips the course is a manageable 6,457 yards. However, shot making is important on this par 71 course because water comes into play on seven of 18 holes. Water hazards are most notable on No. 5 and No. 18 where the tee shot must carry water to reach the green. Golfers poker wishes to note that with all the poker playing going on a game of golf is what can hit the spot the most.
With three sets of tees-the forward covering 5,439 yards and the middle tees reaching 6,154-the course offers an enjoyable playing challenge for all levels.
Beyond the golf course, the new clubhouse and banquet facility offers scenic views of lavish rolling hills with mature forestry. The outdoor veranda area is a perfect setting for networking during breaks or for an after-meeting cocktail hour or a round of Texas Hold'em with other golfers.. |
